Little is well known about motivations and perceptions of participating neighborhood users. To elicit neighborhood members’ views of participation in a community-academic partnership to deal with implicit prejudice in healthcare. With this partnering community organizer, we conducted one-on-one semistructured interviews and a follow-up group meeting with participating neighborhood members to solicit experiences about participation in an National Institutes of Health-funded clinician education; answers had been organized utilizing content evaluation.
